Type once and both cards fill in, then print and cut. HOW TO PLAY Game 1, The Dice Inspection (4 to 30 players, ages 6 and up): Everyone picks one wrapped gift from the pile. Set a timer for about 1 minute per guest. Take turns rolling the die (or spinning the spinner) and do what the chart says: open your gift, swap left, swap right, steal any gift, trade with the oldest guest, or everybody passes. When the timer rings, keep what you are holding. Game 2, Classic Steal Rules (4 to 30 players, ages 8 and up): Draw tags for turn order. On your turn, open a new gift or steal one that is already open. No instant steal-backs. Three steals and it's locked, and the chips keep count. When every gift is open, Player 1 gets one last swap. Game 3, The Great Gift Inspection (any group size, all ages): Sit in a circle holding the gift you brought. The host reads the story out loud. Pass your gift one seat to the left on every LEFT and one seat to the right on every RIGHT. The story has 13 LEFTs and 12 RIGHTs, exactly one more LEFT than RIGHT, so every gift ends one seat to the left of where it started and nobody opens the gift they brought. After the swap, hand out the Gift Inspection Report cards and vote for the best and worst gifts. SIZE AND PRINTING TIPS - Made for US Letter paper (8.5 x 11 in). Print at 100% scale ("Actual size") for best results. - Print only the pages for the game you will play: pages 2 to 5 for the dice game, 6 to 8 for the steal rules, 9 and 10 for the story. - Cardstock makes sturdier draw tags, tokens and invites. - Every page reads clearly in grayscale if you would like to save color ink. - To type the invite, open the FILLABLE file in a PDF reader app that supports fillable forms. A desktop PDF reader works best; some web browser previews and phone viewers do not keep the typed text. Each line has a character limit sized so that ordinary text fits, even typed in capital letters: the Date line takes a full date such as "Wednesday, December 23, 2026", and the Price limit line holds up to 6 characters (the $ is printed).
